The British Cleaning Council is the representative body for the cleaning industry. It was established in 1982 to co-ordinate the internal affairs of the industry and to be responsible for external relations at home and abroad on matters of common interest to members, as well as to provide a forum for all constituent bodies to meet and work together to further the aims of the industry as a whole and help it gain the credibility and enhanced status it deserves.
